Chictopia

Beijing-born designer Christine Lau founded her fashion label Chictopia in 2008. Raised in Hong Kong, and trained at Central Saint Martins College in London, Lau draws inspiration for her designs from her multi-cultural background; Chictopia reflects a retro-meets-modern aesthetic, combining vintage-style designs influenced by Lau’s childhood in China, teenage years in Hong Kong, and student days at London. For Lau, fabric and pattern are key and play a crucial role in the brand’s identity. Defined by colorful prints and playful patterns the Chictopia collection is vivid and witty, edgy yet feminine, representing an ode to the confident and bold contemporary woman.
