Founded in 2008, independent Beijing-based designer Liu Lu created her namesake womenswear label LUVON by Liu Lu after graduating from the Parsons School of Design in New York. Embodying simple elegance, sophistication, and playfulness, LUVON reflects Lu’s international upbringing and conveys a bold global feel, while capturing the essence of womanhood in a constantly evolving metropolitan society. Over the years the brand has gained a large following in China, with the likes of Vogue China’s editor-in-chief Angelica Chung, and actress Zhang Ziyi amongst its coveted followers, and with Lu listed in Harper's Bazaar’s one of the hundred most influential women in China.
