We are now looking for a talented Merchandise Operations Coordinator to join our Buying & Merchandising team. As Merchandise Operations Coordinator; you are required to promote a fluid product lifecycle, anticipating any blockers that could be detrimental to meeting OTB targets and mitigate risks appropriately through your knowledge of Genuine People operational processes. You will work closely with your Buying and Merchandising teams to prioritise your deliveries based on business requirements and provide a valuable link between our warehouses and head office functions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Generate accurate delivery forecasting for the month ahead for your departments, allowing Buying and Operations to plan resources and commercial calendar.
  • Document and report on the delivery status of all purchase orders by managing daily correspondence of assigned vendors, resolving all queries in a timely manner.
  • Prioritise deliveries and workload to be in line with department and business strategy, based on seasonality, commerciality and other Upload needs.
  • Present intake updates and forecasts through weekly and monthly meetings with our San Francisco Merchandising Team
  • Work closely with our San Francisco teams to fully understand our shipping terms and customs requirements, acting as the go-between for vendors to ensure issue free deliveries.
  • Record and monitor vendor compliance, including negotiating late-delivery discounts.
